Last updated : April 29, 2009 April 29, 2009 Dear Friends, As you know, on March 7th we held our fist Carnivale Creole celebration to bring awareness to the state of maternal healthcare in rural Haiti. The event was a huge success! A night filled with great food, dance competitions and fabulous auction prizes allowed us to raise a whopping $2500. I would like to extend a special thank you to our generous donors and sponsors, without whom this event would not have been possible: RCR Hospitality Group/The Waterfront Warehouse I must include our volunteers- Maeve, Anita, Jodi, Brenda, Anne, Erica, Dobb, Taryn our MC, DJ Junior, and our event volunteers.
