On Saturday, March 20th, in recognition of International Women's Day, show your support for the pregnant women of Haïti. Salutary Angels is organizing a 2km walk to raise money for a mobile clinic to be placed in Léôgane, Haïti.

Léôgane is a rural town located 30 km west of Port-au-Prince, and was near the epicenter of the recent earthquake. The United Nations assessment team found that Léôgane was "the worst affected area" with 90% of the buildings damaged and the main hospital completely destroyed. Nearly 20,000 to 30,000 people have died from the earthquake in Léôgane, and many more are suffering with injuries and exhaustion.

The mobile clinic is needed now more than ever to deliver proper medical care to pregnant women who are in urgent need of medical services.
